How to manage your downloads fast and easy
If you are already using the internet for a while you will have encountered many usefull stuff which you wanted to download. Especially if it comes to pictures you will often find a whole bunch of them to download but then you’ll have to click on each and everyone of them to download them – not any longer. This article will provide you with a solution.
Firefox
Before we can come to the solution of your problem you will want to download Firefox which is a powerfull and free web browser. If you are not already using it chances are good you are missing out on an opportunity. Without picking on you with too many tech stuff just let me put it this way: Firefox is a lot of safer than many other browsers and (which is more important) it is customizable. Which means you can add features you need and use and switch them off if you don’t find them helpful.
So go to the Mozilla homepage, download and install Firefox, which will take up to two minutes, make it your standard browser – no worries it will ask you so – and then come back here to collect your first goodies.
DownThemAll
DownThemAll is a very advanced and especially handy feature which can do a whole bunch of things and will make your life a lot easier.
The advantages:
- First of all it’s free!
- It lets you download all the links or images on a website at once
- You can refine these downloads by fully customizable criteria
- It allows you to pause and resume downloads at any time
- It can increase download speed up to 400%
- No additional software needed
How do I install it?
Once you have download, installed and opened Firefox you just use the link above and then click on “add to Firefox”. Firefox will then ask you again if you want to add this add-on where you will agree. Then Firefox has to be restarted, just let it do so. And now the add-on should be on and running.
