Catching Up on Your Reading

1-1210009435EGmELife is not only about work and serious business, we all know how important it is to have some chill out time for ourselves.

Even if we live in a big family home and we all love our families very much but sometimes we all need some alone time.

Moreover, what better way to enjoy our time than with a good book?

Life is fast and sometimes we feel we do not have enough time for those precious little reading moments but with a few good tips anyone can manage their reading time and catch up on the latest great books.

1-     Make a list of what you want to read but still hadn’t the time to do it. Start small, don’t overwhelm yourself. If you’re a bookworm, you’ll feel tempted to add many books to this list but its better to start small.

2-     Make a schedule of all the free time you have. You’ll think: none! But if you think again you’ll find the few dead hours of your day. For instances do you take the bus or the subway or even the train to get to work? Well, if you don’t, you can start now. It’s more cost effective, better for the environment and you’ll be able to make use of those dead minutes reading a great book!

3-     Save a few minutes before sleep to read. Instead of sitting in front of the TV after dinner, just grab yourself your favourite book and let the characters sing you a lullaby. Bedtime is perfect to read a little; much better then TV or magazines.

4-     Weekend is sacred. If you don’t work weekends, Saturday mornings are perfect for a walk in the park or even breakfast in town, with  a nice book to make you company.

As you see, you have more free time that you figured! So let’s manage that reading time better and catch up on your reading .
